As mountains stand secure beside the sandy shores He laid, so for His own, God is the rock on whom their faith is stayed.

Faith's firm foundation has been laid in Christ, the Living Word; for those who trust Him and believe the gospel message heard.

Build, then, upon that lofty rock and flee earth's shifting sand; for only those upon the rock eternally shall stand.
